Ryan Lanigan, Founder, RL Design
Ryan Lanigan formed RL Design in 2005 to help businesses of all sizes connect with potential customers. Over the years, we have collaborated with many great people, both internally and externally.
Ryan has firsthand experience in nearly every aspect of marketing, including branding, identity design, web design, illustration, print design, digital marketing, advertising, video production, marketing automation, writing, editing, and team leadership. He knows that more is always possible with great partners. We are fortunate to work with a large network of photographers, designers, programmers, production companies, and more, all ready to serve our clients as needed.
No matter the scale or budget of your project, we are confident that we can deliver a solution that exceeds your expectations.
Ryan is an exceptional leader and talented marketer. When we worked together, he managed countless projects across several brands. Our marketing team was able to deliver strong results and balance feedback from multiple teams thanks to Ryan’s organization, leadership, and strategic planning. He was always open to collaboration and implementing new ideas/workflows. He’s a hard worker, and it was a joy to be on a team with him!
Ryan is one of those rare creatives who can provide both strategic vision and bring it to life with his own personal creative talents. From website overhauls to marketing campaigns to major print productions to photo and video shoots, I have seen him do it all. I would recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a dynamic marketing leader who can help shape the vision and direction of their organization but also back it up with immense personal talent and experience of actually doing the creative work.
I can’t say enough about Ryan’s services. To sum it up, I cannot think of one person I’d rather partner with in ownership of a business than Ryan. I will continue to rely on him when I need high quality design, professional advice or consulting. He is a business man of integrity and an excellent designer.
I’ve known Ryan for several years and am consistently impressed with his work ethic and above all else his creativity. He has the ability to get things done, and his work is always at the top of the class. I’ve found him to be an ethical person with strong core values, and he is very excellent at what he does. I would highly recommend Ryan and RL Design to everyone.
Ryan is not only a very talented graphic designer, he’s also professional, reliable, and very responsive. We’ve used him for a variety of assignments – from enhancing logo treatments to designing white paper layouts — and he’s done a great job with ALL of them. Ryan has also offered his time and talent to do charity work pro bono, so he’s generous as well. I highly recommend Ryan and his work.
Ryan is one of those people you want to work with. I’ve been calling on him to make it happen since he joined me as a production assistant years back and will continue to do so for one simple reason. He gets it right because he can take my vision and creates the graphics and/or web authoring in both an expert fashion and with creativity. This is golden and when you find it you know it.
Experienced By Design
Problems Are Easier to Solve When You’ve Solved Them Before
The advantage of experience that spans time and solutions is that it allows us to arrive at answers to complex communication problems quickly because we’ve solved them before. We’ve worked to plan and design brand identities, we’ve filmed and edited mini-documentaries, we’ve written, designed, and illustrated books, we’ve designed, developed, and hosted websites, we’ve built yearly budgets and marketing plans, and we’ve led project teams as well as managed in-house departments. This experience has given us insight into how to communicate with collaborators at every level.
Client First
Shared ownership is huge, and we work hard to establish internal buy-in from our collaborators first. Everyone performs best when they are invested in shared goals.
Dirty Hands
Whether it be writing content, building spreadsheets or moving chairs, there are no “levels” of contribution we won’t take on to make the project successful.
